PrintTrac is an integrated computerized solution which combines drop and drag Gantt-based Automated Production Scheduling with Business Intelligence Reporting and your current ERP system to easily provide control and on-line management of print jobs to customer orders, printing machines, print operators, work in process materials and inventory and key critical events in a commercial printing operation.

PrintTrac was developed to give commercial printers a computerized tool to replace tedious and static spreadsheets and provide integrated, easy-to-use, automated, drag and drop Gantt-based production scheduling, real-time updating and to provide production visibility for quick expediting and customer service.

The scheduling module is linked directly to touch screen floor terminals and machine interfaces to provide near-real time update of in process production and provides set-up time, order run-time, downtime information and reports “critical events”, product, operator, machine, shift and plant efficiency to an Internet accessible dashboard.

The capabilities of PrintTrac can reduce customer order expedite and scheduling time dramatically, increase product, operator and machine efficiency as much as 15 to 25 percent.

Multi-lingual touch screen terminals alert and queue operators to production orders, standard operating procedures, inventory alerts and special instructions. The touch screen terminals are also used to start and stop production orders, change crews, declare machine stop information and directly advise the schedule that a downtime event occurred, type of event and length of the downtime event so that the production order schedule can be automatically adjusted.

Internet-based dashboard reports for the current schedule by machine, customer order status, production order status, operator and machine efficiency, downtime reporting, quality control and work in process quantities by item, job, order are available.
Material requirements can be analyzed to confirm that in-process materials are available and ready to stage at the machines. All departments can visually see the schedule and completed work in process by order an, customer to confirm what orders are complete and ready to finalize for the next process or shipping.

Customer Service can see the current status of orders and advise customers of accurate completion dates and quantities. Management can access the system via the Internet and view the current state of the production operations from anywhere at any time.
